Alignment Counseling is a Wellness Center specializing in Holistic Healing for the Mind, Body and Spirt.  We are a group of healing professionals  in a private practice in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Meet Our Staff:

Julia Seiker, LCSW

With over 17 years experience as a Clinical Social Worker, and as a graduate of USC specializing in Clinical Social Work, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are addiction, trauma, loss, relationships, life span/development issues.

Julia is an interactive, whole-person therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and insight to help clients explore personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.


Amber Francis, LCSW

 Amber is compassionate and nurturing  and provides insight-oriented therapy to assist clients in finding their true selves.  Her expertise is in trauma, addiction and life changes.  Amber is experienced in working with teens and knows how to connect in a way that is safe and grounding.  A graduate of prestigious Azusa Pacific University and over 5 years of experience, Amber is competent and provides a healing space for any client.  

Using a collaborative and mindful approach, Amber also helps people who are healing from the challenges of life and relationships.  She is person-centered and provides the needed guidance and support therapy can give.

Vanessa Engelbert, ASW

Vanessa is a client centered, strength based therapist who is skilled in working with clients who
have experienced trauma. She has special skill working with PTSD, eating disorders,
codependency and co-occurring chronic medical issues. “I see the therapeutic process as
collaborative. As a therapist, I will assist my clients to establish goals and then to find their inner
compass to help them reach those goals. I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW
79793). I earned my Bachelor Degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas and my
Master’s Degree in Social Welfare with a clinical emphasis from the University of Kansas.”
Vanessa has worked for over 15 years with mental and physical health issues. “I am trained in
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Intuitive Eating/Health At Every
Size, and the Trauma Resiliency Model.” Vanessa’s specialties are as follows:
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and am trained in Trauma Informed Yoga. I am also
a certified meditation and breathwork teacher. I respect and realize that recovery looks different
for Every Body. I have over 30 years of experience with dance and movement modalities and I
integrate aspects of traditional talk therapy with mind/body practices such as yoga, breath work,
meditation, and mindfulness in order to help you stay present and regulate your emotions
nervous system.

Brain-based therapy is “the fastest-growing area in the field of psychological health because it
has proven that it can immediately address issues that talk therapy can take years to heal
(David Grand, PhD). Brainspotting is a body based therapy that locates points in the client’s
visual field that help to process trauma in the subcortical brain. “Where we look affects how we
feel (David Grand, PhD).” Brainspotting is research proven to be one of the most effective ways
to relieve trauma stored in the mind and body. It’s a fast and effective therapy that works for
everyone. I enjoy utilizing brainspotting techniques to see clients heal in a fast and effective way

I am also a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Intuitive Eating is a philosophy of eating that
makes you the expert of your hunger signals and of your body. It does not impose strict diet
guidelines and it helps you to become attuned to your body in order to promote a healthy
attitude toward food and body image. I am passionate about body positivity and believe in the
tenets of Intuitive Eating as I have seen it stop binge eating disorder, anorexia and compulsive
dieting. Intuitive Eating allows for one to find a lifestyle of freedom through its 10 principles

Beth Johnson

Beth is a Reiki Practitioner, Psychic Medium and IntuitiveTarot Card Reader.  Certified in both Western and traditional Japanese forms of reiki.  Beth is familiar with several energy modalities and has been actively engaged in the energy healing community since the 1990's.  Beth has a keen interest in Tarot with over 20 years of experience reading and teaching Tarot.  She offers both Intuitive Tarot readings and workshops.  Licensed as a Reverend in the United States, member of the National Spiritualist Association of Churches and currently enrolled in The Morris Pratt Institute, and a member of the International Association of Professional Reiki Practitioners, Beth offers and array of Spiritual services.  She is a natural Healer offering services in a compassionate and warm atmosphere.

Ray Martinez

Ray is a certified holistic health coach and an integrated movement specialist whose passion is helping others on their journey to optimal health. What makes Ray different from a personal trainer is his ability to treat the body as a whole system, getting to the root issues. Others love working with Ray because he meets them at their fitness level and because of his ability to listen to their needs.

Ray bases his exercise and lifestyle programs on the training and teachings of the world-renowned C.H.E.K Institute, located in San Diego, California. Committed to a holistic approach C.H.E.K Practitioners are widely-recognized as the finest and most highly trained exercise therapists, strength & conditioning specialists and nutrition and lifestyle coaches. With over a decade of in the wellness industry, a few of Ray's focus areas include coaching client's on moving out of pain, increasing functional strength, improving energy and diet, and optimizing their sleep.
